Franklin Joseph Rahn, 78, died Monday, February 1, 2010.

Mr. Rahn was born on January 12, 1932, the son of Henry J. and Sarah Virginia Ward Rahn. He worked as a self-employed paint contractor in Savannah for over 40 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #183 in Savannah.

Mr. Rahn is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Hughes Rahn; step-sons, Charles, Lynwood and Kenneth Helverson; children, Franklin, Kenneth, Judy and Virginia; 5 sisters; 1 brother; 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel with Rev. Marcus Dukes officiating.

Burial: Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery in Garden City, GA.
